About Me

My name is Paige Rogers, and I am the youngest of four kids. While we all grew up under the same roof and were raised with the same values, every person is unique in the way they walk through life. I lived a very different life from all my siblings and I've always been curious about what experiences shaped my siblings into who they are today. I carry pieces of the people I admire through my personality, quirks, habits, and ways of thinking. Many of those have come from my siblings. My siblings are some of my biggest inspirations for so many reasons. For their achievements, skills, creativity, wisdom, humor, but most importantly, I look up to them because of their love for God. Our foundation for our bond is knowing not only are we siblings by blood, but they are my brothers and sisters in Christ.

Our parents are strong Christians and raised us through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit and the Word of the Lord. This way of parenting led us to want to know Christ and accept Him as our savior. For that, I am forever grateful because I know that we all have the same goal to love others as Christ loves us.

This blog will be a way of exploring and writing about how communication theory plays a major role in our closest relationships. My siblings and I have an interesting relationship and I hope to better understand what has shaped that. Is it our personalities? Is it the way we were raised? Is it our age gap? These are some of the questions I will explore and answer through the content I learn in my class.
